# OpenClaw + Pear guide

OpenClaw currently uses Pear through a separate ClawHub skill.

## Setup

```bash
openclaw skills install ashtonau/pear-apple
export PEAR_API_KEY="YOUR_API_KEY"
```

Start a new OpenClaw session after installing the skill so the agent picks it up.

## Current support

The OpenClaw skill is Apple-focused. It supports Apple Calendar, Reminders, Contacts, scheduling, and daily briefing workflows. Use Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Codex, Hermes, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, or Poke if you want the hosted Pear MCP endpoint flow for Apple iCloud and Microsoft 365.

## Use cases

- Run a daily briefing that reads today's events and pending reminders.
- Let OpenClaw create reminders from a planning document while you keep working locally.
- Use free-time search before the agent proposes meeting times or follow-up windows.
