# Pear MCP overview

Pear MCP gives AI assistants read/write access to productivity apps through a hosted Model Context Protocol server.

Pear is built for agents that need to finish work, not only summarize it. A connected assistant can work with Calendar, Tasks/Reminders, Contacts, Mail, scheduling, and batch workflows.

## Provider support

Pear supports Apple iCloud and Microsoft 365 today.

Apple iCloud support covers:

- Calendar events and availability.
- Reminders and reminder lists.
- Contacts and contact groups.
- iCloud Mail read, send, move, and delete flows.

Microsoft 365 support covers:

- Microsoft 365 Calendar.
- Microsoft To Do.
- Contacts.
- Outlook Mail read, draft, send, search, and organize flows.

Google support is coming soon for Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Tasks, and Google Contacts. Custom IMAP mailbox support is planned.

## Compatible AI clients

Pear works with ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Grok Build, Codex, Hermes Agent, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Poke, OpenClaw, LibreChat, Continue, LobeChat, and other MCP-compatible clients.

Some clients use Pear OAuth. Some clients use a `pear_sk_...` Bearer API key. OpenClaw currently uses a separate `ashtonau/pear-apple` skill.
