AI iCloud Mail
Use iCloud Mail in Claude, ChatGPT, and Codex.
Ask Claude to find an iCloud email, read the conversation, and prepare a reply for your review. Pear connects your mailbox through a hosted MCP server, with Calendar and Contacts available from the same Apple connection. Choose the setup guide for your AI client; its plan and tool permissions determine available actions.

A few good questions
Before you connect.
How do I connect Claude to iCloud Mail?
Create a Pear account, connect Apple iCloud with an App-Specific Password, and enter your iCloud Mail address if it differs from your Apple Account email. In Claude, add https://pearmcp.com/api/mcp as a custom connector, complete Pear sign-in, and enable Pear for your conversation. Team and Enterprise owners must add the connector first. The Claude guide covers each step.
What can Claude do with my iCloud email?
With the required tools and permissions, Claude can list mail folders, find messages, read email bodies, prepare replies, and send or organize messages. Start with a read-only request. Review the selected mailbox, recipients, and content before approving a write.
Does drafting a reply send it or save it in Apple Mail?
No. Pear creates a non-sending review artifact. It is not a saved draft in the Apple Mail Drafts folder. Sending is a separate action requiring the relevant permissions and approval flow.
Can I start for free?
Pear Free includes 50 counted provider actions per month without a card. A single AI request can use several actions. Your AI service has its own subscription and connector limits; ChatGPT write access is limited to eligible workspace plans. Check the current pricing page and your client guide.
Why is iCloud connected but Mail is unavailable?
Confirm that iCloud Mail is enabled for your Apple Account and that Pear has your actual mailbox address. Your Apple Account sign-in address can be different. Check provider status and the returned error before reconnecting; replace the App-Specific Password only if the connection reports an authentication problem.
