Pear docs for every MCP client you actually use.
Start with a client-specific guide or use the hosted endpoint directly. Pear gives ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Codex, Hermes, Cursor, and the rest of the MCP ecosystem one clean path into Calendar, Tasks/Reminders, Contacts, and Mail.
https://pearmcp.com/api/mcpPear supports pear_sk_... Bearer API keys, OAuth discovery, and the separate OpenClaw skill flow. ChatGPT, Claude, Windsurf, Grok, Hermes, and Cline use OAuth-aware remote setup. Poke, Cursor, Codex, and xAI API workflows can use the API key directly.
Hosted MCP tools, 50 API calls per month, and no credit card to get started.
Quick start
The fastest path from zero to working MCP access.
Most visitors need the same three things: an account, an API key, and the right guide for the client in front of them.
Create the Pear account with your email and finish Apple iCloud or Microsoft 365 onboarding.
Use the hosted MCP endpoint for remote clients, or the separate ClawHub skill if you are setting up OpenClaw.
Use the client-specific guide because some clients use OAuth, others use Bearer tokens or config files, and OpenClaw uses a skill install.
Use cases
Start from the workflow you want the assistant to finish.
Pick the workflow you need, then connect Pear to the assistant that needs Calendar, Tasks/Reminders, Contacts, Mail, or hosted MCP access.
Apple Calendar in Claude
Check availability and create Apple Calendar events from Claude.
Tasks and reminders
Capture follow-ups in Apple Reminders or Microsoft To Do, with Google Tasks coming soon.
Microsoft 365 MCP
Connect Outlook Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and Microsoft To Do.
Google Calendar soon
Google Calendar, Gmail, Tasks, and Contacts are on the near-term roadmap.
Contacts lookup
Find people and use address-book context without pasted data.
Mail actions
Read, draft, send, and organize provider mail from supported clients.
Hosted MCP endpoint
Reuse one remote server across ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Codex, Hermes, and more.
Hermes agent workflows
Give Hermes remote HTTP MCP access for briefings, follow-ups, and mail context.
OpenClaw skill workflows
Use the Pear skill for Apple scheduling, reminders, contacts, and daily briefings.
Client guides
Pick the guide that matches the client you use every day.
Each guide covers the exact setup flow for that client, so you do not have to translate generic MCP instructions into a different UI.
Poke
Add Pear as a custom MCP integration inside Poke and use provider workflows in chat.
Claude
Add Pear as a Claude custom connector and finish setup through Pear OAuth.
ChatGPT
Use ChatGPT Developer Mode with Pear OAuth. No manual API key field required.
Grok
Add Pear as a Grok custom MCP connector, Grok Build MCP, or xAI API remote tool.
Codex
Register Pear once in Codex CLI and keep the hosted MCP endpoint available in coding sessions.
Hermes
Add Pear as a remote HTTP MCP server in Hermes Agent config.
Cursor
Set up Pear from a `.cursor/mcp.json` config for editor-native access.
Windsurf
Add Pear in Windsurf Settings as a Streamable HTTP MCP server.
Cline
Add Pear from Cline Remote Servers and authenticate through the browser flow.
OpenClaw
Install the Pear OpenClaw skill, set PEAR_API_KEY, and restart your session.
AI-readable docs
Markdown answers for crawlers, agents, and LLM search.
These files summarize Pear's provider support, setup paths, and mailbox/calendar workflows in plain Markdown for answer engines and agentic crawlers.
- Use an Apple App-Specific Password for iCloud, or Microsoft OAuth for Microsoft 365.
- ChatGPT and other OAuth-native clients will redirect into Pear sign-in instead of asking for a raw API key field.
- The hosted Pear MCP endpoint covers calendar, reminders/tasks, contacts, mail, scheduling, and batch workflows.
- OpenClaw currently uses the separate
pear-appleskill on ClawHub, which trails the hosted endpoint. - Reminders runs through Apple's CalDAV layer, so edge cases can differ slightly from the native Reminders app.
