View all FAQs
Is my data stored by Pear MCP?+
Pear stores encrypted provider credentials and operational metadata, but it does not keep a separate copy of your calendar, mail, task, or contact content.
How does Pear MCP authenticate?+
Pear supports provider-approved OAuth and app-specific password flows, then exposes one authenticated hosted MCP endpoint to your clients.
What data can Pear MCP access?+
Only the provider data you connect: calendar, mail, reminders/tasks, and contacts. Access can be revoked when you disconnect the provider.
Can I revoke access anytime?+
Yes. Disconnect providers from Pear or revoke credentials directly from the provider account settings.
Which clients and agents are supported?+
Pear works with ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Poke, Hermes, OpenClaw, VS Code/Copilot, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Continue, and other MCP-compatible clients.
Is there an API?+
Pear is exposed through hosted MCP over HTTP. API-key and OAuth paths are available depending on the client.
